Formula One driver Romain Grosjean has been putting a Jaguar XE through its paces while trying out the company’s new ‘Smart Cones’ tech, which features in its ‘Art of Performance’ tour.

The tour will visit 200 different locations, showcasing Jaguar’s latest models to existing and all-new customers.

The ‘Smart Cones’ technology, tested by Grosjean in the video, pushes a driver’s reflexes to the limit. Behind the wheel, you have to identify selected routes by spotting green lights at the top of certain cones. Once finished, each driver gets a report on how well they did.

Grosjean said at the time: “My tip for Smart Cones is to stay completely alert and engage your peripheral vision, as the randomness of the course is perhaps the biggest challenge. Trust me, it’s a lot harder than it looks, and I’d welcome you to try to beat my score of 49032.”

Those interested will be able to drive the XF, XE, XJ, F-Type Coupe, F-Type Convertible and the all-new F-Pace SUV at the numerous events.
