Ranger Rover has released a new special edition Evoque – the Ember.

The Ember special edition brings a refresh to one of Range Rover’s most successful cars ever – with global sales hitting 520,000 since its launch in 2011.

The special edition car comes with a red and black theme on both the exterior and the interior, as well as the latest incontrol touch pro technology.

This new infotainment system comes with a 10.2-inch touchscreen tablet-style screen, with drivers able to pinch and zoom the display and customise the home screen.

Integrated into the system is Land Rover Route Planner, which allows owners to pre-plan their journey and send it to their car via a smart phone app. The facility even provides transport options once parked, such as a quickest walking route or public transport services.

Building on the HSE trim, the Ember includes satin black 20-inch alloy wheels, black exhaust finishers and darkened front and rear lights.

Inside, there’s black seats with contrasting red stitching, as well as gloss black trim finishes.

The Range Rover Evoque is available to buy for a limited three-month period this summer, with prices starting at £47,200.

Phil Simmons, Land Rover’s studio director for exterior design realisation, said: “We wanted to give the Range Rover Evoque Ember Special Edition a sport feel; contrasting the intensity of the Firenze Red with Santorini Black really shows off the Evoque’s stand-out proportions.”

The Evoque has been an immensely popular car for Range Rover, gaining 182 international awards.
