With dealerships up and down the country closing their doors due to the coronavirus (Covid-19) lockdown, Seat dealerships have found a novel way of keeping customers engaged by offering live vehicle tours of their model ranges from the home driveways of their staff.

The Live Showcase service isn’t new – as it launched to customers last year – but having sales staff on hand to answer questions and talk through the key selling points of their vehicles from their homes, is proving one way of maintaining customer relationships.

The tours are not only open to new customers, but also to existing Seat owners who may have any enquiries about their cars, including questions about features and accessories.

Since the service went fully remote, Seat teams have had more than 200 enquiries while still being in lockdown.

Richard Harrison, managing director of Seat UK said: “At Seat, we live by the mantra of ‘We not Me’ and the Live Showcase is a perfect example of how we’re adapting to ensure our customers remain supported and our team remain safe and well at home.”

The service is available though the Seat website seven days per week.
