Spread across the firm’s 15 official Renault and Dacia dealerships throughout England and Wales, the electric Zoe models will give users a taste of EV driving.

The new cars join 21 existing Zoe models which operate as part of Renault’s 164 courtesy cars, which had previously included cars like the Clio, Captur and Dacia Sandero.

It will give many customers their first taste of electric car driving, with each fully-charged Zoe model providing up to 245 miles of electric range. Drivers will also be given a comprehensive rundown on the car’s features and driving modes, while should the need to charge arise available charging points are showcased on the car’s display.

Ludovic Troyes, managing director of Renault Retail Group, said: “The 100 per cent electric Renault Zoe has been prominent in the EV market for nearly 10 years, bringing zero-emissions motoring within the reach of everyone.

“By switching to electric courtesy cars, Renault Retail Group is giving all our customers the opportunity to experience the benefits of electric motoring, so they too can take advantage of affordable running costs whilst being kinder to the environment.”

Renault is also offering 48-hour test drives of the Zoe for those interested in purchasing one, too. All cars come with a five-year or 100,000-mile warranty, while the battery itself is covered by an eight-year, 100,000-mile warranty too. Prices for the Zoe start from £27,595, including the government’s plug-in car grant.
