Next month's MPH show gives car fans the first chance to see Peugeot's new RCZ coupe.

Car fans in the UK will get their first chance to see Peugeot’s swoopy new RCZ coupe up close and in the metal next month. The new car, which will reach showrooms next April is a first for the company and will compete for buyers against the likes of Volkswagen’s Scirocco.

The two-door car is based on the 308 hatchback but will come with a 200bhp turbocharged petrol engine, capable of reaching 62mph from a standstill in 7.6secs. The car will be on show at the MPH Show, an event for enthusiasts which runs at London’s Earls Court from November 5-8 and then at the NEC Birmingham from November 12-15. The show car will feature black alloy wheels, a carbon fibre roof and leather trim cabin, which will bring its on-sale price to a keen £22,200.
