Peugeot has announced that qualified teachers will be able to access its special promotions scheme that rewards people with big discounts.

Known as ‘Peugeot Pride Family and Friends’, the promotion scheme was previously just available to Peugeot employees and nominated friends and family. However, since June NHS workers have been able to join, and the French firm has now announced that qualified teachers will be able to take advantage of the offers too, as a way of thanking those that have helped during the coronavirus pandemic.

The ‘Pride’ discounts are available for both cash buyers and those choosing a finance arrangement, and through Peugeot’s Buy Online functionality, it means you can configure and buy a car without even having to go to a showroom. Collection can then be arranged either at home for free, or at a dealership.

Teachers must be qualified and have been in their job for at least six months to benefit from the offers, and need to submit their details via the firm’s website to get access to a promotional code showing what offers are available.

David Peel, managing Director of Peugeot UK, said: “We are very happy to extend our Pride programme to the country’s teachers. During lockdown, teachers continued to educate children across the country to interact and engage with pupils despite the limitations imposed by Covid-19, utilising many of the digital tools that we’re currently using at Peugeot to engage with our customers.”

Peugeot has an extensive range, going from the 108 city car all the way to the seven-seat 5008 SUV. Hybrid derivatives are available on the 3008 crossover and 508 saloon and estate, while electric versions of the new 208 supermini and 2008 crossover are on offer, too.
