Skoda has announced the launch of a fleet and company car-focussed version of its Octavia family hatchback.

The SE Technology spec has been added to the line-up tailored specifically to meet the needs of company car drivers who spend a lot of time behind the wheel.

Standard equipment includes 16-inch alloy wheels, LED headlights with LED daytime running lights, a multi-function leather steering wheel, voice control and front and rear parking sensors.

To provide business drivers with the best possible connectivity on the road, all SE Technology models are equipped with Skoda’s range-topping Columbus infotainment system, which comes with a 10-inch touchscreen display and digital Virtual Cockpit. For the first time, this new system can display the navigation maps in a different level of zoom on either screen.

It also comes equipped with an eSIM – giving full access to the latest Skoda connect online services such as emergency eCall, remote vehicle access and infotainment apps.

There are two engine offers available with the SE Technology spec – either a 113bhp 2.0-litre diesel or a 148bhp 1.5-litre petrol. Prices start at £22,410 and it’s available to order now, with first deliveries expected later this summer.

The Octavia is now in its fourth generation, and was launched in May with first UK deliveries expected this month.
