Skoda has announced pricing and specifications for its new Kodiaq, ahead of the model’s showroom debut early next year.

The Czech brand’s first ever seven-seater SUV will be available in four trim levels, coupled with five different engines.

Along with the two- and four-wheel options and host of different gearboxes, the Kodiaq will be available in a huge 24 different variants.

Trimwise, the model will be offered in Skoda’s familiar S, SE and SE L grades. A further ‘Edition’ option has been introduced to celebrate the landmark model. Seven seats will be available in the SE trims upwards.

The entry-level S will be priced from £21,495 and comes complete with a host of standard specification, including LED daytime running lights, 17-inch Ratikon alloy wheels, Front Assist and a Swing touchscreen infotainment system.

Meanwhile, the middle-ground SE model sees the addition of 18-inch Elbrus alloy wheels, sunset glass, cruise control and rear parking sensors, and costs from £22,945.

SE L Kodiaqs will start from £28,595 and will feature uprated alloys, powered tailgate, and a Columbus navigation system with WiFi. Drive Mode Select, Alcantara upholstery, heated front seats and full LED headlights will also be added.

Finally, the Edition further adds to the SE L’s extensive specification list, in order to showcase the very best of the new model. The Edition models will cost from £30,695 on the road.

The selection of petrol and diesel engines will range from the entry-level 1.4 TSI 125ps, coupled to a manual six speed gearbox, to the range-topping 2.0TDI 190PS, which features a DSG seven-speed 4×4 transmission and is only available on the SE L and Edition trims.
