We’re always on the hunt for fascinating automotive creations and this one has certainly made it into our top all-times favourites.

An eBay user in Armagh, Northern Ireland, is selling their 1:1 wooden replica of a Jaguar E-Type, which does make you look twice.

Equipped with working doors and steering, this weird and wonderful piece of craftsmanship seems to be an inch-perfect copy of a car once called the most beautiful in the world by Enzo Ferrari – Mr Ferrari himself.

The seller notes that the car will roll along and the steering actually works, while the photos reveal that the doors open, too – just like a life-size toy car for adults.

The origin of this car is a mystery – even the seller come across a little vague with details. Nevertheless, it still has a price-tag of £13,000.

That said, it boasts a very strong resemblance in construction and design to a series of cars and bikes – including a Bugatti Veyron and a Mercedes-Benz 300SL – created by a workshop in Boyolali, Indonesia.

These craftsmen put together their replicas from technical drawings of the real thing using offcuts or waste wood. Their cars also feature a working steering system and functional doors.
