Toy giant LEGO has announced the launch a new car product line – LEGO Speed Champions – which will be available from March 2015.
The company has partnered with three top sports car manufacturers– Ferrari, McLaren and Porsche – to create a number of new high-speed models geared towards LEGO fans and petrolheads alike.
There will be seven different car-inspired LEGO sets available, ensuring lots of racing and tyre squealing action from children’s rooms across the country (and maybe in a few dads’ rooms too).
Whether it is a racing car or road car – the new brick built car models will get the hearts of five- to eleven-year old as well as grown up engine fans beating faster.
Included in the range is a large red Ferrari – together with the Ferrari F14 T Racing car. What’s more, a McLaren Mercedes pit stop set will be available too, featuring the McLaren Mercedes MP4-29 as well as the home stretch bit of track, complete with lights function and there will be two Porsche cars – the 911 RSR and 911 GT3 R Hybrid.
Additionally, four sets of standalone vehicles are waiting to hit the track. LEGO says: “Whether it is a racing car or road car – the new brick built car models will get the hearts of five- to eleven-year old as well as grown up engine fans beating faster.”
