Jeep launched the Renegade in 2014 to much acclaim. It took its place at the bottom of their range and offered four-wheel-drive fun on a budget.
Its funky looks made it stand out from the other small SUVs on the market and a wide range of customisation options only further its appeal.
Offered with a range of engines and trims, there really is a Renegade to suit everyone.
Thinking of a Renegade, but not sure which? Don’t worry, here at Motors.co.uk we’ve got you covered. We’ve picked out three different options at three different price points, to make the choice easier for you.

The smart choice for those on a budget: Jeep Renegade Sport

While the base model of the range, the Jeep Renegade Sport looks the part, and has the kit to match.
Starting from £17,495, it comes in a wide range of colour options, including an Alpine white and Mojave sand.
A Uconnect 5” DAB radio with touchscreen and Bluetooth, USB and AUX features as standard, as does a 3.5” Electronic Vehicle Information Centre (EVIC), Stop/Start engine control, air conditioning and Ecodrive – Jeep’s drive monitoring system.
Safety is accounted for by six airbags, all speed traction control, electronic stability control (ESC) with hill start assist and electronic roll mitigation.
Meanwhile, 16” Aluminium wheels complete the model’s exterior appeal.

The smart choice for value for money: Jeep Renegade Limited

While the Renegade Limited sits between the Sport and Trailhawk price-wise at £23,495, it is actually the second highest specced model in the range. This already bodes well for those looking to make the most of their money and the extensive standard features cement the Limited as the Renegade to go for if you’re looking for value for money.
On top of the standard features seen in the Sport, the Limited adds a premium instrument cluster with seven-inch colour TFT display, cruise control, forward collision warning-plus with mitigation and LaneSense lane departure warning-plus.
Meanwhile, a Uconnect 6.5” DAB radio with touchscreen, satellite navigation and Bluetooth plays music through a six speaker audio system, and the driver can keep control in comfort, in the heated leather seat with electric lumbar adjustment.
Electrically adjustable and heated door mirrors, front fog lamps, a speed limiter, 18” Aluminium silver painted wheels, dual zone climate control, rear parking sensors and adaptive rear brake lights add to the extensive spec list.

The smart choice for technophiles: Jeep Renegade Trailhawk

And finally, the must have for all technophiles is the Renegade Trailhawk. Designed with adventure in mind, the ever capable model features the ultimate in off-road technology, including 17” Aluminium off road wheels with mud and snow tyres, skid plate shields on the transfer case, transmission, suspension and fuel tank, hill descent control and a tow hook
Meanwhile, creature comforts in the cabin ensure that while the vehicle may be battling the elements, its occupants aren’t. Leather upholstery with Trailhawk logo is seen throughout the interior, while both the front seats and the steering wheel are heated, and dual zone climate control features.
Rear parking sensors and privacy glass are also seen while a Uconnect 6.5” DAB radio with touchscreen, satellite navigation and Bluetooth takes care of all the occupants’ entertainment needs.
