German engineers have taken the crossover concept to the next level by revealing an electric vehicle that claims to offer 10 body types in one package.

Badged the ‘eBussy EV’, short for electric bus system, it claims to be a convertible, an estate, pick-up truck, transporter, tipper, camping bus, off-roader and an MPV. It comes from a company called Electric Brands and has been developed according to the ‘Lego principle’ according to the company’s website, meaning customers can adapt it to their usage needs quickly and easily.

There are two chassis types available depending whether you want an on-road or off-road variant – each featuring 10 different styles, with all being offered individually at an additional cost. However, the transformation can be done easily by customers.

With a full charge it will offer a range of over an impressive 372 miles thanks to its solar models, which feed extra energy into the 10kWh batteries.

While the eBussy remains a concept for now, it could be available in the UK as early as next year, with prices starting at a more than reasonable £14,000 for the entry level model. Prices would rise to £25,897 for the range topping model,  which comes with camping equipment like a fridge, television and fresh water tank and sink.
