Citroen has unveiled a new limited-run version of its C3 supermini which is a collaboration with fashion brand Saint James.

It’s the latest in the French car firm’s partnerships with a range of fashion firms and designers, with recent other projects including the Citroen C1 JCC+ that was a collaboration with Jean-Charles de Castelbajac, and the C3 Aircross Rip Curl.

This new limited-run model sees Citroen partner with marine-inspired fashion firm Saint James with its recently revised C3 supermini. Based on the high-spec ‘Shine’ trim, this new special-edition is available in a range of colours, and comes with 16-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels too.

It gets a special ‘Saint James’ roof graphic in the brand’s trademark blue, white and red body colours, while the signature can be found on the doors and boot, too.

Inside, the model’s Advanced Comfort seats get grey upholstery with red stitching and a special emblem in them that is said to ‘emulate the signature stripe of the famous Saint James sailor’s jacket’. A blue and red door strap also features, along with various examples of the fashion label’s logos dotted throughout the cabin.

Other standard equipment includes LED headlights, a reversing camera and a seven-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto smartphone mirroring.

Two engines are available – an 82bhp 1.2-litre petrol with a five-speed manual or a 108bhp 1.2-litre petrol that’s paired with a six-speed automatic. Prices for the two versions start from £16,755 and £19,295 respectively, which represents a £400 increase on the standard Shine grade. The C3 Saint James is available to order now, with the first examples set to arrive in showrooms from the end of July.
