Bentley has introduced a special trike that can be transformed throughout a child’s early years.

Available in a range of Bentley’s famous paint colours – that can be matched to a car – the trike can be used in a parent-controlled mode by children from 12 months and up, with the seat moving from rear to forward-facing at the touch of a button.

As the child grows, the footrests can be adjusted and eventually removed, leaving space for pedals. Once the child is happy pedalling by themselves, the push bar can be taken away too.

Older toddlers will be able to pedal without the back support or harness, giving them added confidence as the trike switches to tricycle mode.

Priced at £395, the trike’s wheels feature Bentley’s ‘B’ on the centre caps, while the firm’s wings logo is positioned in the centre below the handlebars. As well as different coloured exterior paints, the seat can be specified in a range of shades with contrasting stitching. All have been chosen to mirror the kind of detail you’d find on a Bentley road car.

A foldable canopy can be used for when the weather turns wet, while a rear brake helps to bring the trike to a safe stop. There’s a five-point safety belt too, alongside adjustable back support.
