Bentley’s Mulliner division is used to creating one-off models for its customers, but it’s never had to create a model for arguably the most important of clients – Father Christmas.

Called the ‘Reindeer Eight’, the unique model may end up replacing a sleigh this year, as the 542bhp Bentley Flying Spur V8 will be a far more luxurious way to travel.

Painted in the brand’s Cricket Bauble paint finish – based on ‘Cricket Ball’ – along with a gold 3D printed reindeer in place of the usual Bentley mascot, the one-off commission even gets all weather tyres for extra grip.

The model also gains a host of gold touches – including to its 22-inch alloy wheels and on the front and rear splitters.

The Cricket Bauble colour also carries through to the interior, contrasting the gold stitching and even the famous customer’s name embroidered in the upholstery. The 12.3-inch rotating touchscreen also plays a welcome tune of jingle bells. You can also quickly and easily add people to the ‘Naughty’ and ‘Nice’ lists.

For confidentiality reasons, Bentley won’t name the customer, but they said: “What fun it is to ride in a 542 horsepower sleigh. Plus, there’s space in the back for all my subordinate Clauses. I’m looking forward to putting 41 million miles on the clock before the end of the year.”

For now, the Reindeer Eight is sadly just a render, though maybe next year Santa will have it officially produced…
