Skoda has already updated its popular Enyaq iV electric SUV with a range of enhancements designed to make it even easier to live with.

One of the biggest changes has been made to the charging speed. On Enyaq 80 models it has been increased from 125kW to 135kW, resulting in even shorter charging times. The Enyaq iV 60 has also had its charging speed increased from 100kW to 120kW. Both changes will show noticeable improvements when the Enyaq is hooked up to a rapid charger.

Buyers of the all-wheel-drive Enyaq iV 80x will also see the inclusion of a new ‘Traction Mode’. This helps to more effectively regulate the division of power between the front and rear wheels, which can bring added traction when driving in slippery conditions or over loose surfaces.

A new battery care mode is also included, which helps to optimise the battery’s charging state to prolong its life. When selected, this charging mode will only allow the battery to reach a maximum of 80 per cent.

Drivers will also be able to see updated graphics on the infotainment screen as well as more information than before. For instance, inputting a destination into the satellite navigation will now bring up the estimated remaining amount of charge upon arrival.

Those people opting for the Assisted drive Package Plus with Travel Assist will see extra features. These include Narrow Lane Assist which helps the car to detect temporary yellow lines, barriers and other vehicles in order to help guide the car through narrow spaces.
