Alfa has provided an extra sporting touch to both the Giulia and Stelvio Quadrifoglio models, albeit in exceedingly limited numbers.

These Alfa Romeo Racing special editions wear a livery inspired by that of the Italian marque’s Formula One team, but don’t expect to see them at your local Alfa dealership any time soon, as just 10 Giulias and three Stelvios are expected on these shores.

The limited edition is more than just some fancy stickers, too. Sauber – the Swiss outfit behind Alfa Romeo’s F1 endeavours – has created an aerodynamics package for both cars, including wider side skirts, a more prominent front splitter and spoiler, plus winglets on the front fenders.

Both cars are still powered by a 513bhp, 2.9-litre twin-turbo V6, which accelerates both the performance saloon and the SUV to a top speed of 176mph.

Other visual differences between these cars and their standard Quadrifoglio counterparts include bucket seats from Sparco, a greater emphasis on exposed carbon fibre, plus larger alloy wheels.
