Vauxhall has introduced the trim levels and price list for its upcoming fifth-generation Corsa.
The Corsa – which celebrated 25 years on the UK market last year – is to be available from £15,550, which is the asking price for the base-level SE variant.
Standard features on the Corsa’s bottom rung include 16-inch alloy wheels, a seven-inch infotainment system and a leather-trimmed steering wheel, plus LED headlights and daytime running lights.
The next spec up is the sporting SRi trim. This adds an exterior styling pack, a black roof, LED taillights and front fog lamps, and a chrome-tipped exhaust. Rear parking sensors, alloy pedals and a ‘Sport’ driving mode are also added to the mix for an asking price of £18,700.
The next spec up is Elite Nav, which adds electric folding door mirrors, a panoramic rear-view camera and front parking sensors. Inside, it gains leather-effect upholstery and a satellite navigation system, at an asking price of £18,990.
The top-spec trim is Ultimate Nav, which is priced from £25,990. For the money, you get 17-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels and IntelliLux LED headlights on the outside, as well as a 10-inch touchscreen and leather massaging seats on the inside.
The Ultimate Nav spec also adds a heft of technology, including keyless entry, electronic climate control and the firm’s ‘Radar’ driving assistance system package.
Two petrol engines are available for the new Corsa — a three-cylinder 1.2-litre naturally aspirated unit producing 74bhp, and a turbocharged version of the same motor that offers 99bhp. A 101bhp diesel is also joining the line-up, while the all-electric e-Corsa is also on the way.
