Our latest Motors survey on car brand loyalty showed that lots of people are interested in buying used cars that aren’t just in the classic vein: Audi, Vauxhall and Mercedes were just some of the brands that people are interested in purchasing as their next car. So what are the best cars on our site at the moment, according to your survey answers? Overall, Audi was the most popular brand of car that people wanted to buy next. We’ve got a great selection on Motors at the moment, with used Audis to suit every budget.
This Audi A2 1.4 SE is a snip at just over £2,500 and features remote central locking, ABS, power steering and built in stereo: an excellent first family car. For a sportier version, what about this second hand Audi A4 3.0 Sport 2DR Cabriolet Multitronic Auto for just under £10,000? This 2005 model has an array of fantastic features including leather interior, fully kitted-out security system, heated seats and fully automatic soft top.
At the top end of the price spectrum, this second hand Audi Q7 TDI Quattro S Line is a solid investment. An excellent family car with plenty of storage space, this particular model also benefits from great security features and everything you would expect from an Audi: practicality, style and great to run. When we asked our survey respondents which cars they thought were the best buys on Motors.co.uk, they came up with Vauxhall, Alfa Romeo and Mercedes-Benz SL class for the best cars under 5, 10 and 20 k.
For a used Vauxhall, there’s a large selection of cars on and under the £5,000 mark, including Vectra, Zafira and Astra models. Make sure you check the miles on the clock with these cars, however, as Vauxhalls really do last a long time (and are driven a lot!). For cars under £10,000, used Alfa Romeos were the most popular choice on Motors.co.uk. Again, there’s a really good range online to choose from, with many of them with fewer miles on the clock than you would expect. There’s even a couple of class Alfa Romeos (like the Spider) available that have notched up the miles but are a great price for any vintage connoisseur.
Lastly, Mercedes-Benz SL Class were noted as the best used car under £20,000 available on Motors. While there’s fewer models available that Vauxhalls and Alfa Romeos, those that are up for sale are available at a very good price and in a selection of 2 door, 4 door, and manual and convertible models.
