Prize
There are three prizes on offer:
1. First prize of an Aston Martin driving experience
2. Two runner-up prizes, each of a pair of tickets to the new Skyfall movie. Each runner up prize will be awarded as 1 x £20 cinema voucher. The voucher will be offered for either Vue, Cineworld or Odeon cinemas only. With this amazing driving experience you’ll be able to discover the mind-blowing power and composed handling that makes this distinguished driving machine the pride of British engineering. Whichever racetrack you pick, (and there are 15 locations to choose from), you can tear up the tarmac in style with this unforgettable Aston Martin driving experience.
The experience begins with a welcome, introduction and briefing on circuit driving techniques, followed by instructor-driven familiarisation laps (the number of laps varies depending on the circuit – Please note at Stafford, Silverstone & Heyford Park familiarisation laps are not included; you will, however, receive a high-speed passenger ride at Stafford and Heyford Park after your turn in the Aston). Next comes the main event – approximately 6 miles (5.7 miles at Silverstone) in one of the following cars:
Aston Martin Vantage at Oxfordshire or Elvington
Aston Martin DB9 or Aston Martin AMV8 at Warwickshire or Prestwold Hall
Aston Martin DB9 at Heyford Park
Aston Martin Vantage at Kenilworth V8 Vantage at Three Sisters, Donington Park, Rockingham or Mallory Park
Aston Martin V8 Vantage at Silverstone.
At the Stafford location spectators will also receive a 4×4 off-road passenger ride. At the end of the experience you will be presented with an individual driving certificate (certificate not available at Silverstone).
Your voucher is valid for 10 months. At Donington this experience is available Monday – Friday only. Availability at Warwickshire is limited from March to November. This voucher may be used on weekdays only at Silverstone. Drivers shorter than 5’0” or taller than 6’4” and/or weighing more than 16 stone may have some difficulty being accommodated. Participants must be 18 or over (17 at Heyford Park and Stafford) and must have a full UK driving licence which they have held for at least a year. To do this experience at Silverstone you must be 21 and have held your licence for three years. Maximum age is 70. Please enquire when booking about any spectators you may wish to bring with you. The person driving the car will be required to sign a disclaimer accepting liability in the event of damage being caused to the car through their negligence. At most locations, you will have the choice of buying an optional collision damage waiver for an additional charge of approximately £25 per car (£20 at the Stafford location). Please ask the operator when booking for further details if required. All dates are subject to availability.
Terms
In order to enter the competition, entrants must enter a valid email address and by doing so are agreeing to receive regular email communications from Motors.co.uk and carefully selected partners. Should entrants no longer wish to receive emails from Motors.co.uk, they may unsubscribe at any time.
Entrants must be at least 18 years of age and be a resident of the UK to enter this competition. Entrants must hold a full and valid UK driving licence.
The competition is not open to employees associated with Motors.co.uk, and their associated companies or their families.
The prize may not be transferred to any other person and there are no cash alternatives or alternative prizes available.
In the event of the advertised competition prize being unavailable, Motors.co.uk reserves the right to offer an alternative prize or prizes of equal or greater value.
One winner will be selected for each prize, from entries collected by the competition closing date of Friday 26th October 2012. Winners will be formally notified by email within 7 days of the closing date.
Winners must respond within 7 days. Winners will receive their prize within four working weeks (depending on availability).
It is the responsibility of the prize winner to book their experience or cinema viewing with the appropriate party.
The winner of the Aston Martin driving experience should refer to the terms and conditions of the experience including any restrictions on height, age and weight.
Winners of the cinema tickets should refer to and abide by age restrictions.
Motors.co.uk will not accept responsibility for any personal injury.
Motors.co.uk’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
The competition winners may be required to take part in or co-operate with publicity.
The use of false name or addresses, for example, a name by which the entrant is not usually known, will disqualify them from receiving any prize.
Motors.co.uk reserves the right to oblige any potential winner to provide documentary proof of their identity and age and address as directed by Motors.co.uk before such person may claim their prize.
Motors.co.uk shall be entitled to terminate or modify the promotion or to modify these rules at any time prior to the closing date by publishing any such modification or termination on the Motors.co.uk website.
Entry into the competition implies acceptance of these rules.
