Vauxhall has announced that an offer that gives drivers of its EVs 30,000 miles of free electricity has been expanded to more models in its range.

The brand introduced the scheme earlier this year on its Corsa-e supermini, but has now expanded it to its Mokka-e crossover, Combo-e Life and Vivaro-e Life MPVs.

Through the offer, owners get access to an exclusive British Gas tariff, which Vauxhall then credits to cover the equivalent of 30,000 miles of free electricity over a three-year period.

New electric Vauxhall customers who have access to off-street parking can also benefit from a free home charger being installed at their property by a qualified British Gas engineer, enabling easier charging.

In addition to this, buyers also get a free six-month subscription to BP Pulse, giving them easy access to more than 8,000 public charging points across the UK.

Paul Willcox, managing director of Vauxhall, said: “Our partnership with British Gas has motivated many to make the switch to an electric vehicle, and has helped ensure the all-electric Corsa-e is one of the UK’s most popular new electric cars.

“We’re very happy to announce that our offer of 30,000 free miles of electricity has now been extended to a number of other Vauxhall models, including the new Mokka-e as well as the Combo-e Life and Vivaro-e Life, making the switch to an electric vehicle even more appealing. By 2028, Vauxhall will offer a fully electric variant across its entire model range.”

All of Vauxhall’s electric models currently use a 50kWh battery, which enables an electric range of between 143 miles and 209 miles, depending on model, with the Corsa-e having the longest range of any electric Vauxhall on sale today.
