The Citroen C3 has received a refresh, which is to arrive on UK forecourts in October.

The current generation C3 – which debuted in 2017 – is receiving its first update since production began. Citroen has decided to discontinue the base spec ‘Touch’ trim level, as it believes that UK customers have a desire for upmarket features that negates the need for it.

Instead, the Feel spec will now become the entry point into the C3 range, featuring 16-inch alloy wheels, a seven-inch touchscreen with Apple and Android compatibility, lane departure warning, automatic air-conditioning and a choice of up to four optional roof colours.

Work has also been done to improve the efficiency of the C3. This includes the introduction of a high efficiency alternator, an air inlet shutter and a variety of hidden under body panels to reduce drag. These changes, coupled with the fitting of low rolling resistance tyres, will result in impressive efficiency gains.

The Citroen C3 will be available from a starting price of £15,860, starting in October. Check out used deals on the Citroen C3 here on Motors.co.uk.
