Before you enter, please read carefully these Terms & Conditions. Firstly, here are some definitions we use:

“eCG UK” Motors.co.uk Limited, a company incorporated in England and Wales with its registered office at 1 More London Place, SE1 2AF, London, UK
“Competition” This competition, Trustpilot Prize Draw
“Eligible Entrants” All users who sign-up for, or who have a Motors account (excludes professional accounts) who are registered on Motors.co.uk website, applications or tools, who are a UK resident, who are aged 18 years or over and who comply with these Terms & Conditions are eligible
“Competition Period” From 12am on 17th June 2020 to 11:59pm on 30th June 2020. UK time.
“Valid Entries’ Entries by Eligible Entrants that are manually submitted.

What is it?

eCG UK is running the Competition which invites Registered Users to enter a prize draw during the Competition Period. To enter, entrants will be required to submit a valid Trustpilot review of Motors.co.uk using the link provided by Motors via email. All Valid Entries will be entered into a prize draw and one winner will be randomly selected by eCG UK

When is it?

The Competition will be held during the Competition Period. Any reviews submitted outside of the Competition Period will not be considered.

 Who can enter?

The Competition is open only to Eligible Entrants.

Only one entry per Eligible Entrant is permitted. Any further reviews left by an entrant will not be counted.

All employees (and their families) of eCG UK, its affiliates or subsidiary companies, any representatives or agents of those companies and anyone else who may be professionally involved with the Competition cannot enter the Competition.

The prize

A £50 John Lewis voucher will be awarded to one Valid Entry randomly selected in the prize draw (“Prize”). Separate terms for voucher redemption may apply.

The winner will be contacted by eCG UK via Trustpilot within 7 days from the end of the Competition Period to be informed they have won the Prize. Eligible Entrants are responsible for ensuring that they can be contacted by eCG UK via Trustpilot.

If eCG UK or its authorised agents are not able to contact the winner by midnight (UK time) 5 days after the first attempted notification, eCG UK reserves the right to select an alternative winner and the original winner’s entitlement will lapse.

What’s excluded?

 The following will not be Valid Entries:

  • Any entries which do not comply with eCG UK’s Terms of Use.
  • Any entries from a professional Motors account
  • Any entries submitted through professional or automated tools, including but not limited to, API feeds

 General

eCG UK, in its sole discretion, reserves the rights to:

  • suspend, change or cancel the Competition at any time, in the event of circumstances arising which make it necessary for it to do so;
  • add additional terms to the Competition;
  • exclude users on the basis that it believes that they do not respect its Terms of Use or that their entries are not of the requisite standard; and/or
  • verify the eligibility of entrants.

Any decision of eCG UK regarding any aspect of the Competition is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

By entering the Competition, all entrants irrevocably grant eCG UK permission to use their name and image for advertising, promotional or publicity purposes.

These Terms & Conditions and the Competition are governed by English law. By entering, entrants agree to be bound by these rules and the Terms of Use and these Terms & Conditions will prevail to the extent of any conflict.

eCG UK shall not be liable, in contract or tort (including, but not limited to, negligence) or breach of statutory duty or in any other way for the loss or damage howsoever arising suffered by an entrant resulting directly or indirectly from entering the Competition. Nothing in these Terms & Conditions shall limit eCG UK’s liability for death, personal injury or fraud.

eCG UK does not accept, and is not responsible for, any lost or delayed entries. eCG UK reminds entrants of the nature and limitations of the Internet and is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunctions of any communications network, online system or computer hardware or software that may affect entry to the Competition.

Although eCG UK will use reasonable efforts to ensure that all information relating to the Competition (“Competition Material”) is accurate, eCG UK is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunctions of any communications network, online system or computer hardware or software failure that may affect eCG UK’s operation of the Competition or the site, including without limitation the accuracy of any Competition Material.

eCG UK may use third parties to facilitate one or more elements of the Competition and eCG UK may provide some of your personally identifiable information to them. These third party service providers are subject to confidentiality agreements with eCG UK and other legal restrictions that prohibit the use
