Skoda has revealed pricing and specifications for upcoming Monte Carlo variants of the Scala and Kamiq.

Slotting in at the top of the range for both models, the Monte Carlo trim adds motorsport-inspired design features, such as 18-inch black alloy wheels and gloss black trim pieces around the exteriors.

For the Kamiq, Skoda fits sports seats, a sports steering wheel and aluminium pedals as well as red ambient lighting, a black roof lining and door sills with Kamiq lettering. LED head- and taillights are included, with a black front bumper and rear diffuser also introduced

Tech features include the Virtual Cockpit digital instrument display, while the 9.2-inch infotainment screen comes with gesture control and Skoda’s Care Connect setup for a year.

Customers can choose from two petrol options, namely 1.0-litre 114bhp and 1.5-litre 148bhp units. Either can be paired to a six-speed manual or seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission with prices starting from £23,305 and topping out at £25,955.

On the Scala, Skoda gives it a similar makeover. LED lights, sports front bumper, a panoramic sunroof and a rear spoiler are all fitted to the outside – while the cabin gains aluminium pedals, sports seats, a sports steering wheel and leather trim with red stitching.

The same engine choices are offered on the Scala as on the Kamiq, with prices starting from £22,680 for the manual 1.0-litre 114bhp option. Prices top out at £25,350 for the 1.5-litre unit paired to the DSG automatic.

Both models are available to order now, with first deliveries expected in the spring.
