Peugeot is encouraging Motability customers back to its showrooms by offering reduced payments on its range of vehicles.

Motability is a scheme that helps people get mobile, by exchanging their mobility allowance to lease a new car. A wide range of vehicles are available from the majority of mainstream manufacturers, but one of the most extensive ranges is from Peugeot.

And the French firm is now bolstering its models’ appeal to Motability users, with a reduction in the Advance Payment of up to £1,450 available. This payment is something that needs to be made on the brand’s more expensive models, with all 108 city cars and low-spec 208 superminis covered in full by the weekly personal independence payment from the government.

Peugeot has now cut the Advance Payment by up to £1,450 on the seven-seat 5008 SUV, while the updated 3008 SUV also gets a saving of up to £1,450.

The smaller 2008 crossover also qualifies for a £500 reduction, while the stylish 208 has savings of up to £450 as well. Peugeot also offers its new electrified models through the scheme, with the battery-powered e-208 and e-2008 available on Motability, along with the 3008 Hybrid.

Julie David, managing director of Peugeot UK, said: “As one of the founding partners of the Motability scheme, Peugeot is delighted to be offering these advanced payment rates on the award-winning 208, 2008, new 3008 and new 5008 ranges. With savings of up to £1,250 and some models even reduced to a nil payment, these offers will continue to make Peugeot one of the most popular brands on the scheme.

“I’m also pleased to be welcoming customers back to our showrooms and I’m extremely proud of the hard work and dedication of our teams in ensuring the safety and well-being of all visitors to our retailers.”
