Nissan has revealed a special edition of its popular X-Trail model, entitled the X-Trail Style Edition.

Featuring the range-topping Teckna specification, the stylised crossover further enhances the model’s reputation for premium quality and comfort, while retaining the X-Trails versatile crossover appeal.

Additional equipment on the Style Edition includes alloy sports pedals, chrome door sills, chrome mirror caps, a chrome finisher on the lower boot and striking 19-inch ‘Black Ibiscus’ alloy wheels. Practical additions of an extra protective trim on the boot lip and a boot floor mat both feature.

Inside the Style Edition’s cabin, drivers will find a comprehensive suite of driver assistance technology, including the brand’s intelligent park assist, Nissan Safety Shield with Around View Monitor, Forward Emergency Braking, Lane Departure Warning and Traffic Signal Recognition.

Not only are the seats clad in leather upholstery; the front pair can be electronically adjusted and heated. The leather theme is continued on the steering wheel and gear selector. Satin-effect roof rails complete the Style Edition’s sleek look.

As with the standard X-Trail, the model comes with either five or seven seats and boasts an innovative Luggage Board System as standard.

The Style Edition is available now, with the choice of either the Japanese carmaker’s 1.6-litre dCi 130 diesel or 1.6-litre DIG-T 163 petrol engines. Both engines feature start/stop technology in order to minimise fuel consumption and emissions.

With both engines there is a choice of either two or four-wheel drive, and of manual or Xtronic transmissions.

Prices for the Nissan X-Trail Style Edition start from £29,405 on the road.
