Snowboarder gets towed behind car in New York

January 26, 2016 | By | In News, Video

People are often reminded to ‘make the most of a bad situation’, and that’s certainly what these snow sport enthusiasts did when a huge snow storm hit the East Coast of America over the weekend.

Taking to their boards and skis behind a Jeep Wrangler, the pair shredded the streets of New York City, jumping and carving on the snow-covered roads.

The video, entitled ‘Snowboarding with the NYPD’ was put together by film director and YouTuber, Casey Neistat, with the help of Dean Neistat, Jesse Wellens and Oscar Boyson.

Since being uploaded yesterday, it has amassed over 5 and a half million views on Neistat’s YouTube channel.

Onlookers are seen shouting encouragement as the pair ride past them, waving a US flag as they ride through Times Square.

The video ends with the Wrangler being stopped by the NYPD, who claim to have received a complaint about the activity, but did not plan to stop the stunt.
