Maserati has brought its petrol-engined Levante SUV over to the UK, with prices starting from £70,755.
The Levante went on sale in the UK last year, and despite early promises from the Italian car maker to bring over a petrol version, the initial line-up was diesel-only.
The new Levante S is fitted with a Ferrari-derived 3.0-litre twin-turbo V6 engine that produces 424bhp. It’s fast, too, with a top speed of 164mph and a 0-60mph time of 5.0 seconds. It is paired with an eight-speed ZF automatic gearbox and a Q4 all-wheel-drive system.
It also boasts 50:50 weight distribution and the segment’s lowest centre of gravity.
An optional safety pack is available on the Levante S and features highway assist, lane keep assist, blind spot assist and traffic sign recognition.
The Levante S is offered in two trim levels – GranLusso and GranSport.
GranLusso has black-painted brake callipers, 19-inch alloy wheels, and silk or leather upholstery and wood trim.
The GranSport comes with red brake callipers, 20-inch alloy wheels, as well as 12-way electric seats, a power adjustable ports steering wheel with gearshift paddles finished in brushed stainless steel.
The Levante S is available to order now, with prices starting from £70,755.
