Angry swan stops traffic in Warwickshire

June 14, 2016 | By | In News, Video

A swan started an angry confrontation with a driver in Warwickshire recently, with the entire incident caught on camera by a bewildered motorist.

Rush hour traffic was brought to a halt by the large bird after it took an instant dislike to a black Ford Fiesta that was travelling near to it.

It repeatedly pecks the hatchback, with its driver helplessly looking on. The motorist even tries reversing out of the road, but the swan follows him. As it pulls away, the bird begins attacking another car that attempts to pass by.

Erald Ratbathilaka, who filmed the feathered fury, told The Daily Mail: “It was around 8:30am on Friday morning, so there was a big queue of people who must have been driving to work.

“There are offices close by, so there must have been a lot of people who were late.

“It was very funny to watch.

“After I stopped filming, the swan even attacked my car.”
