Since its launch in 2012, the Vauxhall Adam has aimed to offer the ultimate in customisable motoring, with the Luton company claiming the city car is available in a whopping one million different design configurations.
And now – for those who a star-light roof or unique alloy wheels aren’t quite enough – Vauxhall has announced two limited editions, named Black and White.
Funnily enough, the two new editions are available in just the two monochrome hues, which Vauxhall (in its best ‘dad’ humour) is referring to as ‘I’ll be Black’ and ‘Saturday White Fever’.
Vauxhall is claiming the chic colour schemes are based on smartphones, with their brushed aluminium accents. Indeed, the exterior of the special editions is finished with aluminium-effect wing mirrors, tinted windows, body-coloured 18-inch alloy wheels and LED daytime running lights.
The inside has also been customised and features a centre console and instrument panel finished to match the car’s exterior colour.
iPhone users will benefit from the standard fitment of Vauxhall’s Intellilink infotainment system, which allows for voice control via its ‘Siri Eyes’ function.
The Black and White editions are available in just one engine specification: the 86bhp 1.4-litre, which Vauxhall claims is good for a combined 51.4mpg and CO2 emissions of 130g/km.
Exclusivity is guaranteed, with just 250 examples being created. To put that into context, Ferrari has produced 499 of its new cutting-edge LaFerrari hypercar.
The Black and White special editions are available to buy now, priced from £14,995.
