Latest version of CR-V off-roader now offers the option of diesel power, mated to automatic transmission.
A fresh version of Honda’s CR-V off-roader will begin sale next January.
The front of the car will be new, while at the rear there’ll be a new design of bumper. Inside, the audio console will be different, while cabin plastics move up a notch in quality throughout. The real news, though, comes in the form of a new 2.2-litre diesel engine. This produces 150bhp – 10bhp more than the current one – and, in a first for Honda, can now be paired with automatic transmission.
Like all CR-Vs, the new cars are built in Swindon, Wiltshire, from where they are also exported to 60 countries.
