Audi has added to its capable RS Performance range with the RS Q3 Performance.
Featuring a 2.5-litre TFSI engine, the RS Q3 produces 361bhp and 465Nm of torque. This means that it can go from 0-62mph in just 4.4 seconds and has to be electronically restricted at a top speed of 163mph. Despite this incredible pace, it still achieves a combined economy figure of 32.8mpg.
Power is driven to all four wheels through a seven-speed S Tronic gearbox, which can be either left to shift automatically or can be manually controlled by wheel-mounted paddles.
Sports suspension – lowered 20 millimetres when compared to the standard Q3 – gives an even more involving drive, with Electronic Stabilization Control keeping everything in check regardless of conditions.
Larger inlets at the front of the car force more air into the radiator, which has an increased cooling capacity to produce the maximum amount of power possible.
The gloss black honeycomb grille at the front is in keeping with the rest of the RS range, while matt titanium-look detailing gives the RS Q3 Performance a purposeful look.
A new paint finish – Ascari Blue – differentiates the RS Q3 from the rest of the Q3 range and 20-inch alloy wheels complement the colour further. All LED headlights with LED daytime running lights provide drivers with the very best visual enhancement at night time, and satellite navigation provides drivers with the very latest in map technology.
Prices for the RS Q3 performance start at £49,175, slotting in just above the standard RS Q3.
