The Jamiroquai frontman isn’t afraid to splash his hard earned cash on the odd supercar. In fact, he has quite the collection to his name.
If you’re ever lucky enough to take a tour around his rather large garage, you’ll find an immaculate Porsche 911 2.7 RS, a Mercedes-Benz 300SL Roadster and a jet black Ferrari Enzo.
It is the latter car that likely gifted the hat-wearing singer a chance to own one of just 499 Ferrari LaFerrari’s ever produced and the funky frontman appears to have plumped for a rather bizarre green paint job.
The images above – surreptitiously snapped by an eagle-eyed Twitter user – allegedly show Jay Kay’s motor being prepared for delivery and perhaps the biggest clue to its intended owner is the ‘Jamiroquai’ badging on the carbon fibre steering wheel.
But not just anyone can grab the keys to one of these extremely special vehicles, which develops 950bhp thanks to its hybrid powertrain, because rumours suggest that Ferrari vetted potential owners for their suitability.
According to various sources, LaFerrari customers had to boast five other models bearing the prancing horse badge before they were even considered for ownership.
That’s not an issue for Jay Kay, who is the custodian of a number of Fezzas, including a stunning Vignale 330 GT, a black Enzo and an extremely rare Scuderia Spider 16M.
But that latest addition to his garage is set to be the fastest as it’s capable of accelerating from 0-60mph in under three seconds and on to a top speed of 217mph.
But green, really? Let us know what you think in the comments section below.
