Jaguar has revealed the latest car to come from its Special Vehicles Operations branch – the F-Type SVR.
This latest F-Type is capable of 200mph, and is set for a full reveal at the 2016 Geneva Motor Show.
The new car benefits from significant styling changes over the standard model, such as a redesigned bonnet with larger air intakes and a large fixed wing at the rear to improve downforce at higher speeds. A larger front splitter also helps the car to stick to the road.
Underneath, the F-Type SVR sees adaptive sports suspension, as well as an electronic differential. Carbon ceramic brakes can also be specified to fit behind the large 20-inch alloy wheels, which are of a unique design.
Reports say that the 5.0-litre V8 powering the SVR will produce around 567bhp and 575Nm of torque which will be driven to the road through an all-wheel drive system. It also utilises Jaguar’s tried-and-tested dual-clutch eight-speed automatic gearbox.
If you can't wait for the big reveal, why not search for a new Jaguar F Type, or find a used F Type near you now?
