Fiat Professional has announced the UK specifications and pricing of its all-new Fullback.

The sporty pick-up combines the style of an SUV with the rugged capabilities of a medium-duty pick-up – it boasts a one-tonne payload with a 1.52m long bed and a 3,100kg un-braked towing capacity.

Named after the position in Rugby and American Football, the Fullback will be available in three different 2.4 litre diesel guises – the 150hp SX, the 180hp LX and the 180hp LX automatic. The SX is the entry-level grade, for which prices will start from £20,995, while the LX manual is priced from £22,995 and the LX automatic from £24,395 (all prices excluding VAT and OTR charges).

A chunky front bumper on the Fullback features swept back headlamps, while distinctive swage lines along the flanks smoothly join the double cab front and the rear bed.

While 16-inch alloys come as standard on the SX model, LX versions feature 17-inch alloy wheels and substantial, body-coloured wheel arch protectors. Its door mirrors, door handles and side steps are finished in chrome.

Inside the double cab, comfort and functionality are both prevalent – attributes that will allow the driver to make the most of the vehicle in both work and recreational environments.

The two-tone black-and-silver dashboard hosts standard equipment including Bluetooth phone connectivity and DAB digital radio, while the leather-trimmed steering wheel features remote audio controls so the entertainment can be adjusted without the driver removing their hands from the wheel.

Also included in the SX’s standard spec is remote central locking, electric windows and mirrors, air conditioning, start/stop, front fog lamps and a tubular side step. Safety is accounted for by seven airbags, trailer stability assist, hill start assist and cruise control, amongst other features.

LX drivers will benefit from extra features including "Touring" suspension, keyless go, electrically-adjusted and heated front seats, dual-zone climate control, bi-xenon headlamps with washers, enhanced body styling, privacy glass and touchscreen infotainment system with DAB, Bluetooth connectivity and sat nav. Lane Departure Warning and a reversing camera are added to the already-generous safety spec.
