Who said people carriers couldn't be desirable? The previous generation S-Max appealed to buyers who were bored of dull MPVs and the new generation increases the car's visual appeal even further.
Its talents run more than skin-deep, though, with a range of high tech connectivity and entertainment kit expected when the car reaches showrooms next year.
The S-Max will also be the second Ford Model to benefit from the brand's new upmarket 'Vignale' trim level, which promises a more luxurious interior as well as a number of ownership benefits.
Combined with Ford's upcoming 1.5-litre Ecoboost engine, the S-Max is shaping up to be the family car to beat in 2014.
