The importer for Dodge and its pick-up truck subsidiary Ram has announced an increased push for the American models in the UK.

While cars from the brands are currently rather hard to come by in the UK, the firm that imports them – AGT Europe – is looking to add more dealerships to its portfolio to capitalise on what it sees as untapped demand for the American machines.

The importer believes that three or four additional dealerships selling Ram and Dodge cars would be ideal, bringing its total shipment to 200 cars per year.

Dodge products have been sold in the UK on an ‘official’ basis in the past, before the brand faced the axe in 2010, the same year that the firm’s popular Ram pick-up model was spun-off into its own brand.

Current highlights of the Dodge line-up include the muscle-bound, 786bhp Challenger SRT Hellcat Redeye, while the Ram trucks command attention and road space like almost nothing else.
