Dacia has announced it will offer a free home delivery service to all customers buying a new car through its ‘Buy Online’ platform.

The manufacturer is one of few that enables customers to buy their cars online, with Dacia working with its dealer network to deliver the models purchased in this way. Previously, delivery to a showroom was free, though home delivery cost £250. Though the latter fee has now been waived.

While customers will have to wait for showrooms to reopen once the coronavirus ‘lockdown’ restrictions lift, Dacia has said these customers will be prioritised for delivery as soon as dealerships reopen.

All of Dacias models – including the Sandero supermini, Logan MCV estate and Duster crossover – are available to buy online. The Renault-owned firm is already offering a £250 off a new Sandero or Logan MCV to help towards reducing purchasing costs, too.

Luke Broad, head of brand for Dacia UK, said: “The fact that customers are able to go through the entire new car buying process without the need to even leave their own homes, or even the sofa is an amazing thing. With transparent pricing and adjustable deposits and monthly payments, the website helps make this experience as simple as possible.”

The free home delivery offer is being offered to all customers until the June 30, 2020.
