Citroen have announced it will be offering a special edition of its popular Cactus crossover – the C4 Cactus Rip Curl.
In a collaboration with the well known surfing brand, Citroen has created the C4 Cactus Ripcurl Special Edition, offering drivers a even more striking-looking version of the already quirky Cactus.
On the outside of the car there’s Rip Curl graphics on the rear quarter lights as well as white roof rails and door mirrors. Inside, owners will find orange seatbelts and floor mats with orange trim.
However, the changes are more than just skin deep. The Rip Curl Special Edition is the first Cactus to come with Grip Control. This traction control system gives drivers the ability to choose different driving modes according to the surface they are travelling on. This makes the Cactus more capable off-road, and able to deal with surfaces such as mud and sand.
A panoramic glass sunroof is also included with the car as standard, as are five individual body colours ranging from Obsidian Black to Tapenade Grey. Drivers also have the ability to pick between two excellent engines, the Puretech 110 petrol and Blue HDi 100 diesel.
Included in the car’s £18,480 on-the-road price is aluminium effect front and rear bumpers, as well as rear parking sensors and a full colour reversing camera.
There’s also automatic headlights, satellite navigations and tinted rear windows. Cruise control also allows drivers to cover longer distances in comfort. The C4 Cactus Rip Curl Special Edition is available to purchase from June 1.
