Prices and specifications have been detailed for the updated Citroen C3 Aircross, which gains a revised front-end design and a greater focus on comfort.
The facelifted crossover takes details from the Citroen C-Xperience concept, introducing a bolder-looking grille, new LED lighting and additional silver underbody protection. Inside, higher-spec models also benefit from a new larger nine-inch touchscreen, while there’s also a new sliding centre console that can be accessed by both front and rear seat passengers.
The engine choice remains as before, with buyers able to pick from a turbocharged 1.2-litre petrol unit, available with either 108bhp or 128bhp, along with a 108bhp 1.5-litre diesel option.
Three trim levels are offered – C-Series, Shine and Shine Plus – with entry-level models kicking off from £17,320. Standard equipment is still generous, though, and includes 16-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels, a red colour pack and LED headlights. Rear parking sensors and a seven-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
Up next is the Shine, which is available from £19,980. This brings a new black colour pack, along with additional storage solutions and a larger nine-inch touchscreen with satellite navigation.
Sitting at the top of the range is the Shine Plus, which benefits from Citroen’s acclaimed ‘Advanced Comfort’ seats, bringing additional support, as well as larger 17-inch alloy wheels and a reversing camera. This grade is available from £21,500.
Order books for the updated C3 Aircross are now open, with first deliveries expected in June.
