Big estate car marks a new chapter for Czech value brand Skoda as it moves upmarket. See it in UK showrooms now.

Skoda’s biggest, most luxurious and most practical car yet has just reached UK showrooms. The Superb Estate has just gone on sale at prices from £17,715.

Calling any car ‘Superb’ risks setting it up for a fall, but for this one, its name is deserved.

For a start, it boasts the load capacity for cars of its size and type. There’s 633 litres when the seats are in place and the space trebles when you fold them to 1885 litres. Room for five passengers is also more than generous, especially for those lounging in the rear. Trim levels and engine choices follow those for the Superb estate. There are S, SE and Elegance models to pick from, powered by a range of three petrol and three diesel engines, ranging from a 1.4 turbo to a 3.6 V6. These link to manual or twin-clutch DSG gearboxes driving the front or all four wheels.

Skoda expects to sell just over 1000 Superb estates this year, of which three-quarters will be company purchases.
