As your parents no doubt warned you when you passed your driving test, there are a lot of idiots on the roads. Now, one of these idiots has been caught on film, watching TV and having a relaxing cup of tea while driving along a busy dual carriageway.

The unidentified female motorist was spotted at the wheel of a Ford Fiesta on the A127 in Essex by professional driver Luke Page.

Sat in a traffic jam, Mr Page exits is own car and walks over to confront the woman, who is watching television on an iPad attached to her windscreen.

“She has got two pieces of technology attached the front of her car – a phone and a tablet – and she currently watching TV while she's driving,” he says before approaching the woman.

When confronted, the woman flatly denies watching TV, despite her iPad being clearly visible, displaying what appears to be Celebrity Masterchef.

“Well done. You're going on Facebook,” Mr Page replies. The video has since gone viral and has been viewed thousands of times since being uploaded on Monday.

Speaking to the Independent, Essex police confirmed that they were aware of the video and that they were deciding whether any further action will be taken.
