The paper model Lamborghini Aventador

Normally found on the back of a cereal box, cut-out paper models are usually desperate affairs, looking nothing like the car or fighter-jet emblazoned on the front of the packet.

Obviously frustrated by this, designer Taras Lesko has taken to creating his own, eight-foot long interpretation of Lamborghini’s flagship model, the Aventador.

The time-lapse video above shows the entire process, from blank paper to finished car, and documents the sheer amount of work that went into making this ultimate toy car.

The finished product clearly take cues from the ‘Need for Speed’ video games, with the black Aventador decked out in Police colours for a decidedly menacing air.

You can download your own cut-out paper model template of the Aventador, as well as Lesko’s previous creations, including Bugatti Veyron and Pagani Zonda models, from his website visualspicer.com.
