New faces of motors.co.uk make their screen debut

Our search for the next stars of our advertising campaign is over. Meet them here…

These faces are among the 11 you’ll see promoting motors.co.uk in the coming weeks and months. Amazingly, none are professional models. Instead, they were picked from among the thousands who visited the motors.co.uk Big Blue Wheel road show as it toured shopping centres across the country.

Each was snapped by our team of photography pros on location, posing with our lookalike for Lewis Hamilton, the F1 racing champion. Next their pictures appeared here on motors.co.uk, where visitors to the site voted for their favourite. Once the results were in, each of our finalists was invited to a pamper day where they had a professional makeover before a session in front of our cameras.

The results – some of which you see here – will also appear in motors.co.uk advertising nationally, in a campaign beginning later this year and to continue into 2010. ‘I never thought that I would win,’ said Heather Lynch (pictured centre) from Grimsby. ‘The pamper day was a lot of fun and the celebrity treatment was wonderful. I’m looking forward to my family and friends seeing the final adverts, although it will take a while to get to used to seeing my face in the newspaper.’
