Grand prix racing stars visit West End for warm-up

A taste of top-flight motorsport comes to London's Regent Street this weekendOne of London’s most famous streets will be transformed into a grand prix circuit next month. Regent Street will be closed to traffic for a day to make way for A1 GP cars, which will line up on a grid there as a warm-up for a race to be held at the Brands Hatch circuit on May 4. But this Sunday, drivers and other representatives from the 22 teams taking part will also bring the ‘world cup of motorsport’ to Regent Street, so that shoppers and sightseers can have a taste of the event.
