Biker rounds corner to face elephant stampede

UK drivers have their fair share of hazards to deal with on the roads, from football-chasing children and wobbly cyclists to wayward lorry drivers. Luckily however, we don’t normally have to worry about elephants on the road.

However, that’s exactly what this biker faces when rounding a corner on one rural road. Negotiating the bend, the rider comes face to face with a herd of enormous elephants. Rather than calmly letting this buzzing machine scoot by, the elephants take a different tack.

Turning on the biker, the elephants let out a furious war cry before charging down the startled rider. Thankfully the motorcyclist has space to perform a rapid U-turn and zoom off into the distance, as the wild creatures chase after him.

Take a look at the video below to see this biker’s lucky escape from being trampled and be grateful next time you visit a drive-through safari park that all those elephants are a little friendlier than these ones.
