A woman in Australia was lucky to escape with her life after a car drove through a pedestrian crossing.

The incident took place in Queensland, Australia, and was captured on the dashcam of another motorist.

In the short clip, the driver with the dashcam is driving towards a pedestrian crossing and slows to allow the woman to cross.

She walks out into the road looking at the floor, but fortunately the stopped driver checks his mirrors. He spots another car speeding up to the scene and realises it’s not going to stop in time, so he honks his horn to alert the woman in the road.

She glances up and manages to stop in her tracks with mere inches between her and the inattentive motorist’s car.

The lucky woman walks away remarkably calmly, but the driver with the dashcam lets out a profanity – let that be your bad language warning!
