Fiat has refreshed its long-running Fiorino van for 2016, and has announced its UK pricing and specification.
The update gives the small van styling more in line with the rest of the Fiat Professional range, with an emphasis on retaining its city-friendly dimensions and impressive load capacity. The most obvious upgrade comes from the redesigned front bumper, which keeps the headlights high as seen on Fiorinos of the past, while improving visibility and making them less susceptible to damage.
The Fiorino has a load capacity of up to 2.8m3, and can carry a payload of up to 660kg. A useful feature is that the passenger seat can fold and retract, allowing for use as a desk or for accommodating objects up to 2.5 metres in length.
The passenger compartment has also been updated, with a new steering wheel wrapped in leather housing remote stereo controls. The instrument cluster graphics have been redesigned, and a five-inch, colour touchscreen infotainment system has been fitted to the dashboard. Features include Bluetooth, USB/AUX port, satellite navigation and DAB radio.
Three Euro 6-compliant engines are available. Two 1.3-litre turbo-diesel engines with 80 and 95hp are offered, as well as a 77hp 1.4-litre naturally-aspirated petrol unit. The latter option comes with Start & Stop technology, contributing to 74.3mpg on the combined cycle, and CO2 emissions of 100g/km.
The Fiat Professional Fiorino is available to order now, starting at £11,315 excluding VAT.
