Citroen has revealed pricing for its new C4 Picasso and Grand C4 Picasso, which will go on sale from 1 September. The pair start at £19,635 and £21,935 respectively.
Both models have been given a mild front end style refresh, though keep the triple-tiered lighting structure that has become Citroen’s signature look. The daytime running lights are now surrounded by chrome trim, while the wider, lower front bumper has been re-designed to give both cars a more purposeful look.
At the rear, new 3D-effect lights come as standard across the range, while the Citroen logo is now finished in gloss black with a chrome surround. Two new body paint colours are also available: Lazuil Blue and Soft Sand, seen in the image above.
There are three trim levels available: Touch, Feel and Flair. New 17-inch alloy wheels come as standard on the Feel trim, while new integrated roof bars are now available on the Grand Picasso’s Flair trim.
From launch, two new petrol powertrains are now available in the form of 130 and 110bhp. They will be available with a six-speed automatic and six-speed manual respectively.
Two new driver assistance packages are also available, marking Citroen’s first foray into active safety systems. Pack One contains an active lane departure warning system, speed limit recognition and driver attention alert. Pack Two adds active radar guided cruise control.
On the C4 Picasso, the entry level model is the ‘Touch’ trim with a PureTech 110 petrol engine and six-speed manual, which costs £19,635 OTR. The Grand C4 Picasso starts at £21,935 in ‘Touch’ trim with the PureTech 130 and manual transmission.
