Jeep has announced details of its new 75th anniversary Wrangler.
Featuring a range of enhancements and styling touches, the Wrangler also incorporates a new Euro 6 diesel engine.
Designed to celebrate the brand’s 75th anniversary, the Wrangler comes in two versions – Sahara and Rubicon.
Incorporated in the Sahara version are front side airbags, 18-inch alloy wheels and sunscreen glass with a deep tint.
As for the Rubicon version, this receives black heated leather seats and mopar slush mats.
The Sahara starts at £31,840, while the Rubicon comes in at £34,910, featuring a 3.6 V6 automatic.
Based on the Overland model car, the Wrangler 75th Anniversary is limited to just 85 UK units. It features unique exterior styling such as a bronze-finished front grille and a body-coloured dual top. It is also available in three colours – Bright white, Solid Black or Sarge Green.
In recognition of the very first Jeep car, the 75th Anniversary model gets seats embossed with ‘1941’ in black or saddle brown colours. Added to this are bronze accents on the air vents and satellite navigation put through an Alpine sound system.
The Wrangler 75th Anniversary was first revealed at the 2016 Geneva Motor Show., and is now headed to the UK in both two and four-door layout. It still incorporates a variety of styling elements taken from the original Jeep, such as the seven bar front grille and plate metal-style body panels.
